Elementary Music

​Students develop music literacy through creative expression as they sing, play, read, write and move. Through creative performance, students are provided the opportunity to perform a variety of repertoire from different musical periods both vocally and instrumentally. Understanding music’s role in history, analyzing and evaluating their own music and the music of other artists becomes part of the examination process fostered in the music classroom.
