Students earning a position on the school cheerleading squad are instructed in the fundamentals of cheerleading activities. The purpose of the cheerleading squad is to promote school spirit and a positive school climate by participating in athletic events and extra-curricular activities as deemed appropriate by the campus administration and cheer leading instructor. Cheerleaders are expected to be positive role models, serving as school ambassadors on campus and in the community.
