Nathan Fuchs
Executive Director for Maintenance & Operations

Nathan Fuchs began his career with Katy ISD in 2003, assuming the role of Assistant Project Manager. The subsequent year saw his advancement to the position of Construction Project Manager, a role he held until 2016. It was then that he transitioned to the role of Director of Maintenance and Special Projects. In 2021, Fuchs achieved the distinction of being appointed Executive Director for the department, a role he undertakes with great honor. 

Prior to joining the Katy ISD family, Fuchs honed his expertise as a specialist in the United States Army and furthered his career at Drymalla Construction Company. Fuchs is a proud alumnus of the University of Houston, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Supervision.

The Maintenance & Operations Department will be proactive in providing the highest quality grounds, maintenance and custodial services within our resources.  We will strive to be recognized as environmental stewards through our utility conservation initiatives, recycling programs and our nationally recognized Indoor Air Quality program.
