The Land Use Zones that have been rezoned to Junior High School #18 can be found on the Katy ISD web page titled, 2024-2025 Approved Attendance Boundary Modification (ABM) – Junior High School #18, Haskett Junior High School and Stockdick Junior High School.

Can my current 8th grade student attend Katy or Paetow high schools with an older sibling for the 2024-2025 school year?
Yes. Current 8th  grade students who are rezoned to High School #10 and have a current 10th or 11th grade sibling attending Katy or Paetow High School may apply for a transfer to attend the same campus as their older sibling.    

Siblings on a transfer to attend Katy or Paetow high schools will no longer receive district transportation beginning August 2026.  

When will the Sibling Student Transfer Application to attend Katy or Paetow High School be available?
The Student Transfer Application will be available beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, and will close at 11:59 p.m. on Monday, January 15, 2024.  Students who do not apply for a sibling transfer by the deadline (January 15, 2024) will be rezoned to High School #10.

Where is the Student Transfer Application located?
The Student Transfer Application is located on the Katy ISD Student Transfers webpage. The following link may also be used to access the form: 2024-2025 Student Transfer Application. This link opens on November 1, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. and will close at 11:59 p.m. on Monday, January 15, 2024.

How and when will I know if my student’s transfer request is approved?
An administrative decision is typically made within 10 days of submission. Notification will be sent to the email address provided on the application.  Please set your email filters to accept emails from CampusAdminSupport@katyisd.org

How long will an approved student sibling transfer remain in effect?
Transfer approvals are per school year. Renewal applications must be submitted annually. 

If my student has been rezoned to Junior High #18, will I need to withdraw my student from Haskett or Stockdick Junior High School? 
No. The Katy ISD Technology Department has identified the students who have been rezoned to Junior High #18 and will update student campus information accordingly.

Will transportation be provided for students rezoned to Junior High #18?
Yes.  Students must qualify as ELIGIBLE according to Katy ISD guidelines.
