Cheating is defined by the Katy ISD Discipline Management Plan and Student Code of Conduct. For clarification, the school-wide cheating policy is as follows: FIRST OFFENSE – The student will receive a zero on the assignment/test, an “N” in conduct, a disciplinary consequence, and counseling from the teacher and/or administrator about the seriousness of the offenses.
-
SECOND OFFENSE – The student will receive a ZERO on the assignment, a disciplinary consequence, and a “U” in conduct and could be excluded from representing the school in extracurricular activities.
THIRD OFFENSE – The student will receive a ZERO on the paper, a “U” in conduct, a disciplinary consequence, and will not be allowed to represent the school in any extracurricular activities. A third offense will also result in removal from leadership positions. -
