*Students who are currently enrolled at the (OAC) Opportunity Awareness Center will enroll in KSAT credit recovery courses through the OAC campus. Please contact the campus front office for more information.

High School Original Credit - Katy Virtual School
Katy Virtual School
(incoming 9th - incoming 12th graders)
The Katy ISD Virtual School's primary objective is to expand the learning opportunities for our students by offering choice and flexibility for challenging online courses developed by Katy ISD
During the summer, incoming 9-11th grade students can choose from a variety of original credit courses offered online in the asynchronous format. Visit our website at (https://www.katyisd.org/KVS ) for details regarding course options and to access the registration application.
Dates: Two sessions A&B
- Session 1: May 29 - June 27, 2024
- Session 2: July 2 - July 31, 2024

Credit recovery will be offered online and asynchronously with teachers available to provide support both online or in-person at the KSAT summer campus.
Dates: Online courses will open June 3 , 2024 and will close at noon on June 27, 2024.
In-person support will be available with academic support lab sessions at Raines Academy:
- Monday through Thursday, June 3 - 27, 2024
- Times 7:30 am - 10:30 am or 11:30 am - 3:00 pm
Transportation: HS Bus Routes (students report to the main entrance at the high school campus in their feeder zone for transportation to the MRA complex)
Application: Opens May 1, 2024 and Closes May 29, 2024 at 11:59PM KSAT Application

Dual credit opportunities this summer are below:
Courses will be offered utilizing a hybrid modality. Students will be required to attend face-to-face class at Raines Academy two days a week, for three hours per day. (Days and times TBD) The remainder of the coursework will be completed virtually.
Summer Session I: June 3-July 5 (virtual only July 1-5)
- MW 7:30-10:30 - GOVT 2305
- MW 11:30-2:30 - ECON 2301
- TTh 7:30-10:30 - MATH 1314
Summer Session II is still TBD pending student interest.
Transportation: During June 3- 27, students may utilize the HS Bus Routes (students report to the main entrance at the high school campus in their feeder zone for transportation to the MRA complex) Students will provide their own transportation to MRA during the July and August in-person sessions.

ESL Original Credit and Credit Recovery
Registration is by invitation only.
Students will participate in an in-person program for ESL Original Credit and Credit Recovery.
Dates: June 3 - 27, 2024, Monday through Thursday
Time: 7:30 am - 3:00 pm

The Write Camp
Rising 9th - 12th graders will participate in an in-person program for The Write Camp.
Registration is by application only. Students sign up in their ELA classrooms and parents will be contacted via email if their student is selected.
Dates: June 3-6, 2024
Time: 11:30 am - 3:00 pm

College and Career Labs
Rising 11th and 12th graders will have the opportunity to schedule an appointment with a college and career facilitator for guided assistance on resumes, college/school/job applications or entrance essays.
