I have 12 years experience in education working in the High school, Junior High, and Elementary level. I married my high school sweetheart who I have been married to for 15 years. We are the proud parents of 3 wonderful daughters. I studied at St. Thomas University and earned my Master’s of Education in Counseling, and earned my Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from University of Houston-Downtown. I love studying the human mind and behaviors and helping people. This year I have the privilege to support students and teachers as an In class support/Resource teacher and case manager. I can’t wait to meet your children and support them in their academic journey.

    Hello, my name is Yvette Campassi. I am so excited to begin my 30th year in education! I was born and raised in the Houston area and I received my Bachelors of Science in Education from Texas Tech University. I have taught in KatyISD at Bear Creek, Hutsell, Mayde Creek and Davidson for the past four years. I absolutely LOVE teaching MATH!!! I am an special education teacher who supports math. I have triplet daughters who are in college. Abby is at the University of Arkansas, Taylor is at Texas State University and Shelby is at Texas A&M University. I am very proud of all of their accomplishments. I am looking forward to a great year and working with KDE students.

    Hello! My name is Lynsei Davis, and this will be my fifth year at Davidson Elementary, yet my eighth year as an educator. This year, I have the privilege of serving as one of our campus's designated ASIP Educators/Case Managers and a Special Education Team Leader (Programs).  Prior to this role, I taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade (all content areas, including ESL and Special Education) in Houston ISD and Katy ISD school districts. I have a sincere passion for learning and helping students become their best selves, which I cultivate through respectful relationships and a strong sense of community.  Outside of work, I have two amazing daughters who are both in college, as well as one fantastic dog named Titus James. As a U.S. Navy Veteran, I'm proud to have served my country and fellow service members and continue to serve others. After my enlistment, I attended Texas Woman's University, earning a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction.  In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, cooking, gardening, traveling, and relaxing. I'm looking forward to interacting with our students and making this another amazing school year!

  • Jennifer Devries

    This will be my 15th year teaching, and I will be a dyslexia specialist at Davidson! I have taught elementary science, 1st grade, 2nd and was a reading specialist. I have a Bachelor's in Elementary Education and English and a Masters in Reading. I have been married to my husband, Ryan, for 21 years and have two daughters, Izzy (15) and Lucy (13). Outside of school, I enjoy running, reading, and spending time outdoors with my family. I LOVE to travel and experience new places!

  • Ashley Farrell

    My name is Ashley Farrell, and I am proud to be a KDE Dragon!!  I am from Katy, Texas, received a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Houston, and my master's in counseling from St. Thomas.  I am certified to teach Special Education, ESL, Elementary Education, and Counselor certified. I’ve been in education for almost 18 years, teaching all diverse learners in a variety of settings. I am so happy to continue to do what I love every day. I will be doing in-class support again this year. I have a true passion for working with children every day. It brings me so much joy in my heart.  Helping each child progress in all areas of their development-academic, social, language, and motor-is a challenge that I am honored to accept daily.  I strive to create a community of learners that nurtures this growth in a positive, fun environment. Personally, I have two fantastic children who are 4 and 5 years old.  We love to be in nature, garden, read books, paint, dance, and make things. I also enjoy reading, cooking, music, hiking, and spending time with friends and family. I look forward to working together with you as partners in your child’s growth and development!!

    Kerri GonzalesMy name is Kerri Gonzales. I am an In Class support Sped teacher and case manager. This will be my 4th year at KDE. I have worked in Special Education for 20 years. I have a bachelor's degree in Applied Business Management and a Special Education certification. I moved to Texas 7 years ago from New Mexico. I have been married to my wonderful husband for 7 years. I have 3 sons. My oldest is 21, I have a 20 year old and my youngest is 14, just starting high school. I look forward to working with our wonderful Dragon students.

     

  • Shelley Gordon

    Hi! My name is Shelley Gordon.  I am one of the two campus speech language pathologists (SLP) at Davidson this school year! This is my 16th year in education.  I was a classroom teacher prior to becoming a SLP. I got my bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M, my master’s degree from Texas Woman’s, and am currently working on my doctorate at the University of Houston.  Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and kids, reading, traveling, and watching the Astros.

  • Courtney Heldenbrand

    My name is Courtney Heldenbrand and this is my 5th year as a dyslexia teacher at Davidson Elementary. I previously taught kindergarten for 5 years in Katy ISD. I graduated from high school in Katy and went on to attend Baylor University. I have a bachelor's in elementary education and a masters in curriculum and instruction with an emphasis on reading. I love helping students improve their reading skills. I believe that all students are capable of achieving great things. I have been married to my husband, Steven, for 13 years, and we have two boys who also attend Davidson. I am so excited about a wonderful year of learning and fun in dyslexia class!

    My name is Sara Isola and I have worked in Katy ISD for 8 years. This will be my 9th. I have been married for 20 years and I have a son who is 19 who attends Anderson University in South Carolina and plays lacrosse for the school and I have a daughter who is 16, who will be a junior at Tompkins. This will be my 7th year at Davidson!  I also enjoy doing photography and reading when I am not teaching.

    My name is Krystal Lewis, and I am the campus ARD Facilitator. This will be my 8th year at Katy ISD and my 3rd year here at Davidson. I've worn many hats throughout my career in education and have experience throughout multiple positions. However, this one is truly my favorite because I can now advocate for our kids in a new way. I'm thankful that I have the opportunity to continue to work with such a wonderful community and help our Dragons any way I can.

    Hello! I am a passionate and experienced Special Education Teacher with over eleven years of experience. I have a true passion for helping each student progress in all areas of their social, academic, language and motor development. Though it can be a challenge at time; I am honored to accept it daily. In my downtime, I enjoy exploring and learning more about Texas, reading, volunteering, and spending time with my son, cat, and bearded dragon.
     
    I look forward to working with all stakeholders as we partner together to promote student success in a safe, positive, and fun environment!
  • Emma Massey

    Emma MasseyHello! My name is Emma Massey and this will be my 3rd year teaching. This will be my 1st year in ECSE, but I have experience in Applied Behavior Analysis, Speech Therapy, and I have previously taught in the Life Skills classroom. I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Child and Family Studies from Baylor University (Sic 'em, Bears!) I have a passion for teaching children with special needs and creating a safe space for them to grow and learn in my classroom. Outside the classroom, you can catch me hanging out with my best friend (a Tibetan Terrier named Georgie), reading at the park, booking a flight, baking, drinking coffee, doing yoga, or watching the Astros!

I currently serves as a Special Education Resource Teacher and Team leader. I have two kids and two dogs. I look forward to an amazing school year.

  • Raji Partha

    Raji ParthaMy name is Raji Partha. I completed my bachelor's degree In India and worked as a software programmer / developer, predominantly building websites and maintaining databases for commercial building developers in the Houston and Dallas area. I have been in Houston for the past 27 years and have two children. I quit my job due to personal reasons and worked at the Westview school as a teacher’s assistant. I fell in love with teaching and this prompted me tp complete my master’s degree in education from the University of St. Thomas. I have been a Resource / ICS teacher at Wolman Elementary for the past two years. I will also start my BCBA master’s certification program at George Mason University this fall. Working with students with Autism has always been my passion and this will be my first year at Davidson Elementary as a YCAP teacher. I am very excited to be a part of this wonderful team.

I was born and raised in Texas. I have practiced in Hawaii, Texas, Wyoming. Along the way I have acquired vast experience with children who have communication disorders.     Hello KDE Family! I’m Jenny Rodriguez. I serve as a Special Education Teacher in the Autism Support and Intervention Program (ASIP). I was born and raised in Colombia. I have an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education and Child Development, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Science in Management. I have been in education for over 11 years, and every year I oath to support, love and teach each student so they can grow to the best of their ability.

    Diana WatsonHello, everyone! My name is Diana Watson, and I serve as a Special Education Teacher and Team Leader. My passion lies in teaching Special Education Dyslexia and Resource, and I take great pride in helping my students grow and succeed. On a personal note, I have three wonderful adult children, a lovable yellow lab named Oliver, along with an adorable feline duo, Miley and Maisy. I enjoy seeking out live music events, going on outdoor escapades, and staying active and energized at the gym. I am dedicated to being an advocate for my students, collaborating with parents, colleagues, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to their education and well-being. The highlight of my day is always seeing our wonderful students, and I am beyond excited for the fantastic year ahead!

    My name is Kayla Winters, and I am the campus Diagnostician. This will be my 13th year in Katy ISD and my 6th year being at Davidson.     My name is Deidre Zawistowski. You can call me Ms Z. I am excited to be in Life Skills this year. I graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in Biochemistry. I have been teaching for over 15 years - from pre-K, special education, and even junior high. I have been at KDE since 2016 and taught on several different grade levels. My motto is, "It is ok to be messy and make mistakes!" I love learning and helping kids discover new things. I met my husband while at UH. Go Coogs! I have three adult children. In my free time I have fun reading, hiking, playing with my dog, and taking care of my fish.
