Lori Davies

My name is Lori Davies. I am the Reading Academic Support teacher here at Davidson Elementary.This will be my 18^th year in Katy ISD. I have taught at Cimmaron Elementary, Golbow Elementary and I have been at Davidson since 2017. I am a proud Katy ISD graduate. I attended West Memorial Elementary & Junior High and graduated from James E. Taylor High School. My hope is that we instill a love of reading and writing, inspire creative and innovative thinking and create lifelong learners. I am honored to serve our Davidson community. I earned a Bachelor's degree in English from Texas A&M University (whoop!) and a Master of Science degree in Training and Development from the University of Houston. Outside of school, I am a wife and a mom to an amazing daughter. In my free time I love to read, write and spend time with my family. 

Deb Wheelis

Hi! I am Deb Wheelis and I love being a Dragon! This year will be my 25th year in education with 23 of those years being in KatyISD. I have a Bachelors degree from University of Houston and a Master’s degree from University of Texas in Arlington. Throughout my career, I have been a classroom teacher, instructional technologist, instructional coach, and for 9 years now, I have been the Math Academic Support teacher for Davidson elementary. I am also the webmaster and coordinator for Safety Patrol. Personally, I am a widowed mother of two wonderful men (Tyler and Ryan) and two dogs (Betsy and Magnum). When not working, I enjoy reading and have recently taken up finger knitting. I am excited to see what adventure my 26th year of teaching will deliver.
