Alexis Ali

Hi! My name is Alexis Ali and I am so excited to be back at Davidson this year for my second year teaching 4th grade and teaching science and social studies! I have grown up in Katy, Texas and attended Katy ISD schools, so it is always bittersweet to get to teach in the district that I have always loved. I graduated from Texas State University with an Elementary Education degree. I love spending time with my family and my boyfriend, cooking and traveling. I look forward to a wonderful and fun school year with y'all!

Amanda Alston

Hi! My name is Amanda Alston and I am so excited that I get to teach Math this year. I was born and raised in Katy, Texas and graduated from Katy High School. I graduated college from the University of Houston-Victoria and this is my 9th year teaching. My husband and I have 4 wonderful children. Tristan (19) is a second year college student, Audrey (18) is a college freshman, Adrian (16) is a junior in high school, and Mikey (10) who is a fifth grader at KDE. I love spending time with family and our two dogs, cooking out, and anything to do with outdoors. I am so excited to be on this journey with you this year.

Julia Arcuri

Hi, I’m Mrs. Arcuri. I have been teaching for over 29 years in high school and elementary school. Fourth grade is my favorite group to teach! I teach Reading and Language Arts. My husband is a Math teacher and Football coach at Seven Lakes High School. Our two daughters, Meredith and Robin are grown, but they come visit us all the time. Robin has a 4 year old, daughter named Ella! I love every moment of being this sweet girl's Nano. Meredith has 3 Chihuahuas, one of which is a bit evil. I love to read, write, read, do puzzles, read, and knit! The only thing I like more than reading is being with kids!

Julie Berardi

My name is Julie Berardi. I'm excited for another great year with our 4th grade dragons! I have been an educator for 15 years. I earned my Bachelors degree from the University of Houston-Downtown in 2008 and my Masters of Education in School Counseling in 2014. I began my teaching career in 2008 in Cy-fair ISD as a math interventionist for 2nd-4th grade students. I gained more teaching experience over the years in Alief ISD as a 4th grade self-contained teacher and then took a year off to care for my newborn son. I joined Katy ISD in 2018 and feel so blessed to be apart of such an amazing community and staff. My husband and I have a son, Elliott, that is our pride and joy and also joining KDE this year as a Kindergartner! I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, playing video games, camping, and crafting. Looking forward to a great year with all of my students and families!

Brittany Fontaine

Hi! My name is Brittany Fontaine and I am so excited for my first year as a Davidson Dragon teaching 4th grade math, science, and social studies! This will be my 5th year teaching and my 3rd year here in Katy ISD. I started my career as a 4th grade math teacher in Cy-Fair ISD and am excited to be back in elementary after spending the last few years in junior high. I grew up in Spring, TX where I graduated from Klein Collins High School in 2013. I attended Texas Tech right after high school but ended up graduating college from Texas A&M in 2018 and am currently working on my Masters in School Counseling at the University of Texas-Tyler. My husband and I met at Texas A&M and got married in June 2019. We have two kids, Nolan (2.5 years old) and Adisyn (born 7/11/23). We also have a fur baby, Rudder, who is a yellow lab. I love spending time with my family, reading, trying new restaurants, and traveling. I am extremely passionate about this career and can't wait to share that passion with my students this year!

Rebecca Miller

Hey there! I'm Rebecca Miller. I’m so glad you’re here! This will be my 5th year at KDE & my 8th year teaching! I grew up in Colorado & attended the University of Northern Colorado, go Bears! After I graduated I moved to Texas. When I’m not teaching, I love playing tennis and spending time with my yellow Labrador, Saylor! I am so excited for this year and I’m looking forward to helping your child grow!

Claire Mynatt

Hello! My name is Claire Mynatt and I've been a teacher for two years! I am excited to teach 4^th grade this year at KDE. I have a degree in English Literature from Oklahoma Baptist University and love to talk about literature, but especially poetry. I'm passionate about the growth of students and that they have access to a quality education. In my free time, I enjoy reading, pottery, and embroidery. 

Rachel Roe

Hi, I'm Rachel Roe. This next year will be my lucky 13th year in education. I have a master's degree in Deaf Education, but after taking a few years off to raise my kids, I returned to find that my niche is in the general education classroom teaching ELA in 4th grade. I am also currently a candidate working on a National Board Certification for Professional Teaching Standards. I have been married to my husband Darryl who is a software engineer for 25 years. We have a 23 year old daughter named Chloe'. She graduated from The University of North Texas in May and will start her teaching career this school year in Grapevine/Collyville ISD as a 3rd grade math/science teacher. We also have a 20 year old son named Colton who is starting his second year of college at The University of Texas in Austin studying physics. I also have a 16 year old mini poodle Jack, a 12 year old yorkie poo Sweet Pea, who is tiny with a BIG personality, and a 3 year old big doxiepoo named Hamilton, and two sweet guinea pigs named Fergi and Gerti. Since my babies aren't babies anymore, each year I put my whole self into my little classroom family. I feel like a new mom at the beginning of every year and am so proud of my little dragons as I send them on to the 5th grade at the end of the year. Having your student in my class is such a gift in this chapter of my life. I am one lucky wife, mom, teacher, and dog and guinea pig mom!
