Legacy Parent Academy 2024-2025

The Katy ISD Legacy Parent Academy is a series of informational sessions designed to assist parents by raising awareness on various social-emotional and academic topics that impact our students and our campuses district-wide. Academy participants will gain factual knowledge pertinent to each topic while also learning strategies and proven techniques to assist in supporting students.

Upcoming Session: Moving Up to Junior High or High School

January 16th, 2024 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Parents are invited to attend an in-person night of education regarding valuable information on supporting the transition to Junior High and High School as well as the course selection process presented by Katy ISD Academic Counseling in conjunction with Katy ISD Social Workers. These presentations will be held at the Merrell Center. The first presentation will be the transition to Junior High at 6pm and following that the second presentation will be the transition to High School starting at 7pm.
