Step 1: 

• Future JHS Warriors Parent Night (Click link for presentation)

  • January 23, 2025 at 5:30 PM in the Performing Arts Center (PAC) at Jordan High School

• JHS Counselors at SLJH to present course selection information (students only)

  • January 29, 2025 

• 9th Grade Course Planning Worksheet 

• Graduation Requirements form (c/o 2029)
• Use JHS 9th Grade Course List Sheet as a guide to select courses for 9th grade. 

• View SchooLinks description of courses to ensure eligibility

Step 2: 

• February 3, 2025- begin inputting courses into course planner in SchooLinks. 

• Use the SchooLinks guide for additional support

• Course Planning sheet due to Home Base teacher by 

February 12, 2025

Step 3: 

• SLJH Counselors will meet with each 8th grader to review and approve courses in SchooLinks (February 13- February 28)

• Once approved, courses will be “view only” in SchooLinks

Step 4: 

• Parents approve students’ personalized plan after the student has met with the counselor (more information will be communicated on this step)

• All changes finalized during course verification (March 3-7)

  • Use Course Verification Form to request changes 

  • Changes will be viewable in SchooLinks course planner once completed by a counselor 

• No changes will be made after March 21, 2025

CBE (Credit By Exam) Information:
