Course Selection sheets are due to their English teacher by Monday, January 27th.  Course selection sheets are needed for a more efficient appointment for both the counselor and the student.  Parent, student, and teacher input when choosing classes for the next school year is advised.  Students are strongly encouraged to make class choices carefully and thoughtfully, not only for primary class choices, but for alternate choices as well.

Schedule Changes

  • Schedule changes must be requested within the first 10 calendar days of the new semester.

Schedule requests will only be granted if:

    • There is an error in the schedule
    • A prerequisite course was not taken
    • A program change, such as band, orchestra, choir, athletics, etc
    • KAP/AP class leveled to Academic (level changes can also occur at the 6-week marking period through either a petition to exit or failure of the class)

Class for class schedule changes are not guaranteed.  The change of even one class can change a students' schedule completely.  This includes a students' lunch, order of classes, and teachers.  Once a schedule is changed, a student cannot go back to their original schedule before the change request.  A student requesting a schedule change needs to follow the correct procedure, including due dates and signed forms particular to their requested change.

Schedule Changes are not made for:

    • Lunch changes
    • Teacher changes
    • Elective changes
    • Order of class changes
