Fine Arts

  • Art

Students develop a greater sensitivity to the visual world, its formal order, and its overall unity by increasing both visual awareness and visual literacy. The students develop a vocabulary for art, and the skill to graphically express and communicate their own inner ideas and attitudes with innovation and creativity by creating original artworks using a variety of media. Analyzing artistic styles, historical periods and demonstrating an understanding of global awareness is part of the critical evaluation process students utilize with their own work and works of other artists.
