I love being a librarian! This is my 23rd year in education and my 16th year in the library! My favorite thing about being a librarian is getting to help my amazing students find books that they love and sparking a passion for reading in them! I am a mommy to 3 boys who keep me very busy! My husband is a pilot for Southwest Airlines and we have been married for 21 years this year. My cat, June Bug Pickle Matovich, rules my house! I love to travel, read books, watch movies, ride bikes with my family and relax by the pool. 

Favorite Books: It is just too hard to pick one! I love ALL of the books! Some of my favorite children's books are The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane by Kate DiCamillo; All Are Welcome by Alexandra Penfold; and The Monster At The End of This Book by Jon Stone. 

I am the new Library Clerk at Davidson. I have worked with Mrs. Matovich as a Sub and volunteer for the past few years, and she is amazing! So happy to be in the library!I also love working in the library because I get to see all the KDE students!  I love helping the students find their just right book! When I am not working at KDE, I love spending time with my 3 kids and husband, going to the theater shows, reading books, cooking, working out and cuddling with my 2 dogs!   

Favorite Books: I love mystery, science fiction and historical fiction books!
