Hello!  I have been a school librarian for 21 years.  I spent 4 years at Franz Elementary, 6 years at Cardiff JH, and this is my 11th year at Cinco Ranch JH.  Before I was a librarian, I taught 1st grade at Golbow Elementary and 2nd grade at Beasley Elementary in LCISD.  I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 1999 with a BA in Psychology and my teaching certificate.  While I was teaching, I attended Sam Houston State University and completed my Masters in Library Science in August, 2003.

I became a librarian because I love to read.  I have been an avid reader my whole life.  I was the kid who got in trouble for reading when I was supposed to be doing something else.  I hope to pass that love along to the students and teachers at CRJH.

Hi!!  I’m the librarian aide this year, and I’m so excited to be here!!  I taught 7^th grade Science when I first became a teacher, but since then I have been a stay at home mom.  My husband and I have 4 children…. Avery - an 8^th grader here, Ryder - a 6^th grader here, Emmy – a 4^th grader at Rylander, and Cole – a 1^st grader at Rylander.  As a family we love playing/watching sports, playing board games, watching movies, and spending time at Canyon Lake.

I’m also a Texas A&M aggie who LOVES all things fitness, being outdoors, and relaxing with a good book at the end of a long day.
