  • FAQs about the Start of School

What are the school hours? What is the bell schedule?

The school hours are 8:55am - 4:05pm. The building will not be open until 8:30am.

Where can I find my student's schedule or grades?
All schedules and grades are available in the Home Access Center.

    Do students carry physical textbooks?
All of our textbooks are online. Additionally, they are used as a resource intermittently along with several other source materials. If there are questions about needing textbooks, please contact our textbook clerk, Natalia Flores, at NataliaFlores@KATYISD.ORG or 281.237.5920. The majority of the time, the online textbook is plenty adequate!

Where can I locate bus information?
Bus routes will be posted closer to the start of school at this link: Bus Track

    Nutrition and Food Services
Breakfast and lunch will once again be free to all Katy ISD students during the 2021-2022 school year. While meals are free to everyone, it is important to still fill out a Free and Reduced Meal Application, as you may qualify for other benefits and discounts. Free and Reduced-Price Meals Benefit Applications are available online at SchoolCafe.com. To deposit funds online for a la carte purchases, please visit Pay N’ Go.

    Athletic Tickets
There is now an easier way to purchase Katy ISD athletic event tickets! Pay N' Go Tix is a fully-digital ticketing program that will allow patrons to purchase tickets to junior high and select high school athletic events in advance. From the Katy ISD Athletics webpage, click the Pay N’ Go Tix Athletic Tickets button.  From there, you’ll be able to pick either junior high athletic events, or select high school athletic events. You’ll locate the game you wish to attend, purchase your tickets, and show the QR/barcode at the gate to be scanned.  It’s that easy!
