Parents of students that are new or returning to KATY ISD may pre-register online.  Please note that pre-registration does NOT mean that your child has been enrolled in KATYISD.  Parents MUST come to registration to enroll their child.  For more information please click here

Please contact the school by 9:00 a.m. to report your child's absence.  You can report the absence by calling the school (281) 237-8400. Please leave your student's legal name, grade, teacher and the reason why he/she is unable to attend school. 

Compulsory Attendance

Texas requires a child who is at least six years of age, or who is younger than six years of age and has previously been enrolled in first grade, and who has not yet reached his/her 18th birthday to attend school for the entire period the program is offered unless exempt by TEC 25.086. While students are not required to enroll in pre-kindergarten or kindergarten, once enrolled, the students are required to attend school. TEC 25.085 and Board Policy FEA (LEGAL)

​Tardies

A student is considered tardy when the student is not in the proper place with all needed materials before the tardy bell rings at 8:10 a.m. The school doors open at 7:50 a.m.  Please help us get each day off to a good start by having your child at school on time.

​Home Access Center (HAC)

The Home Access Center enables parents to access students' grades, assignments, test scores and absences, as well as allows parents to update basic contact information. If you are unable to log on to HAC, please contact the campus.
