My name is VaRisha Osby and this is my fourth year at Nottingham Country Elementary. I have worked in education for 14 years in various roles. I have taught 5th ELAR/ SS, served as a Reading Interventionist for at-risk 5th and 6th graders, and an elementary librarian. I am passionate about helping students become life-long learners and readers and to prepare them to be college ready. 

HI! My name is Vanessa McDowell, and I am delighted to be the new library aide at NCE!  I have a lot of PTA volunteer experience that I hope to bring to the position.  I’ve been married 16 years and have an 11 year old son.  We also have a dog named Seamus and a cat named Pepper!  I enjoy Bible study, reading, playing video games, and fandom (especially Harry Potter and Friends)!  I’m thrilled to be a part of this school and can’t wait to see what the year brings.
