Meet the Counselor

Hi there! My name is Morgan Ditchman, and the 2024-2025 school year marks my sixth year as the school counselor at Creech Elementary.  I am incredibly passionate about the emotional, social and  behavioral  success of all students, and I look forward to continuing to build strong relationships with my students and their families. Please know that my door is always open, and I am here to support the SCE students, staff and community however I can! It is going to be a great school year!

Prior to my current role, I was a special education teacher for seven years. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education with a minor in Psychology from Texas A&M University. Gig 'Em! I also have a Master’s degree in Professional School Counseling from the University of St. Thomas. In addition, I am an Advanced Certified Trauma & Resilience Practitioner (ACTRP) through Starr Commonwealth, and I recently obtained my Principal as an Instructional Leader certification through Region 4.

In my spare time, I enjoy RV camping, watching Texas A&M football, and spending time with my husband and our two kids. My family loves to be outside, so we spend a lot of time at the lake and hiking around state parks!
