2022-2023 marks my 8th year in education and my first as a librarian. After graduating from Katy High School in 2010, I attended the University of Houston, earning my BA in English Literature. I then taught English for three years in Cy-Fair ISD. I returned to Katy ISD in 2018, teaching English at Morton Ranch Junior High for two years and at Paetow High School for two years. I finished my Masters in Library Science this past summer and am excited to join the amazing team of educators at Hutsell Elementary. 

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, also a teacher in the district, and our two daughters as well as reading, crafting, and planning fun trips.
