2024-2025 marks my 10th year in education and my third as a librarian. After graduating from Katy High School in 2010, I attended the University of Houston, earning my BA in English Literature. I then taught English for three years in Cy-Fair ISD. I returned to Katy ISD in 2018, teaching English at Morton Ranch Junior High for two years and at Paetow High School for two years. I finished my Masters in Library Science in the summer of 2022 and love being part of the Hutsell Elementary family.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, also a teacher in the district, and our two daughters, as well as reading, crafting, and planning fun trips.
