I love all things related to literature, history, and art. I have a passion for spreading the love and joy of reading. Literacy is the foundation that supports all aspects of a student's education, and I’m happy to be a part of that. My teaching background in public education has been middle school social studies content for grades 6 through 8.

I have been in education for 22 years. I have taught 2nd grade, 3rd grade, and preschool. I have also been an ESL instructional aide and a librarian. I was a stay-at-home mom for ten years. Now my boys, Carter (24) and Reagan (19) are in college. My husband and I have been married for 31 years. My passion is reading. I am so happy to be in the library and instill my love of reading in the students!
