Instructional Technology

The Instructional Technology Department is dedicated to enhancing teaching and learning through purposeful technology integration that positively impacts instruction. By providing access to digital tools, interactive resources, and modern classroom technologies, Katy ISD empowers students to engage with information in multiple ways, receive timely feedback, and take ownership of their learning.

The department offers professional training, e-courses, and technical expertise to help teachers effectively use technology to enrich instruction. Working cooperatively with the Curriculum Department, the Instructional Technology team supports district standards and ensures all digital resources are meaningful, relevant, and aligned with the Katy ISD curriculum.
