2025-2026 STUDENT TRANSFER APPLICATION

The Student Transfer Application for the 2025-2026 school year will open in phases. See the timeline below. The online application can be found on the Katy ISD Student Transfer webpage.

All students currently on an approved transfer must reapply, except for children of employees who meet the criteria for automatic renewal. Failure to submit a transfer application by the allotted time frame will revert your child(ren)’s campus assignment to their home-zoned campus. Late applications will not be accepted.

2025-2026 Transfer Application Timeline
January 8, 2025 – February 14, 2025	High School Transfer Requests (Current 8th – 11th grade students)
March 18, 2025 - April 30, 2025	Elementary and Junior High Renewal Transfer Requests Only (Current K - 7th grade students)
June 2, 2025 - June 27, 2025	Elementary - High School New Transfer Requests
July 7, 2025	Elementary - High School New Transfer Requests (Change of Residence, Children of New Hires and Sibling)
