CLASS of 2024

The Senior Survey is available in SchooLinks!! Check with your high school campus regarding the specific deadline.

The Texas Success Initiative Assessment (TSIA) is designed to guide Texas public institutions of higher education in helping them determine whether students are ready for entry-level college coursework in English Language Arts Reading (ELAR) and mathematics. Students are exempt from this assessment if they meet college readiness benchmarks on the SAT ACT, or successfully complete the high school College Preparatory Course - TSIA scores and exemptions are valid for five years from when an assessment was taken.

Students who do not meet a TSI exemption must take the TSI assessment before college enrollment. Students who do not meet one or more of the established TSI benchmarks may be admitted, however, they are required to receive developmental education academic support as determined by the institution. Contact your campus’ College and Career Facilitator for more information.

In the case of inclement weather, Katy ISD will issue weather information impacting ceremonies via the stadium loudspeaker, students’ Katy ISD email addresses, social media, and text messages to the phone number a parent/guardian has on file with the District. All regularly scheduled graduation ceremonies begin at 8:00 p.m. In the event inclement weather is severe and impacts the scheduled evening ceremony, the graduation ceremony will be rescheduled to 9:00 a.m. the following day at Legacy Stadium.  However, every effort will be made to ensure the 8:00 p.m. evening ceremonies remain on schedule.
