Katy ISD Sounds of Summer Series Features Outstanding Student Performances
Introducing our #SoundsofSummer music series! Katy ISD’s music program has received national recognition for the last 20 years and we’re proud to feature some of the amazing talent coming from our Fine Arts programs.
Over the next few weeks, the District’s social media channels will feature student performances from the Katy ISD Young Artist Outstanding Performer’s Recital held in May. The Katy ISD Young Artist Competition is the District’s state level contest, where students are invited to perform for an esteemed panel of music professors from local universities. Judges select one student each from the entire day as their “outstanding performer” and those students move on to participate in the Outstanding Performer’s Recital in the spring.
