Katy ISD Schools Earn Texas Honor Roll Distinction for Academic Excellence and Student Success

Katy ISD Schools Earn Texas Honor Roll Distinction for Academic Excellence and Student Success

KATY, TX [February 27, 2026] – Katy ISD continues to rank among Texas’ highest-performing districts, with 31 campuses named to the 2025 Texas Honor Roll for outstanding academic achievement and success in closing student performance gaps. The District also earned the Honor Roll distinction. The recognition places Katy ISD schools among the state’s top performers in advancing equitable outcomes for all learners.

The annual Honor Roll, presented by Educational Results Partnership (ERP), recognizes schools and districts that demonstrate consistently strong academic results, high levels of student growth and measurable progress among student groups. Approximately 15 percent of eligible schools and 14.5 percent of eligible districts made the Texas Honor Roll list for 2025.

“Our Katy ISD campuses are consistently demonstrating that high achievement and student growth go hand in hand,” Katy ISD Superintendent Ken Gregorski said. “This recognition reflects the relentless focus our educators place on meeting every student’s needs, maintaining rigorous expectations and ensuring all learners have the tools to excel.”

To compile this year’s honor roll list, the ERP analyzed STAAR testing data from 2023-2025 to compare outcomes across subject areas and cohort groups.

Honor Roll campuses demonstrate strong outcomes across multiple measures, including student proficiency, academic growth and performance among historically underserved student populations. Katy ISD continues to rank among Texas districts with the greatest number of Honor Roll campuses, underscoring the District’s commitment to rigorous instruction and equitable access to high-quality learning.
