Meet the Senior Executive Director, Operations

Nathan Fuchs, RTSBA | Senior Executive Director, Operations

 

Nathan Fuchs began his career with Katy ISD in 2003 as an Assistant Project Manager. Just a year later, he was promoted to Construction Project Manager, a role he held until 2016. That year, he transitioned into leadership as the Director of Maintenance and Special Projects. In 2021, he was named Executive Director of the department, and in 2025, he was appointed Senior Executive Director, Operations. In this role, Nathan continues to guide the district’s Maintenance & Operations efforts with a focus on strategic growth and service excellence.

Before joining the district, Nathan served as a specialist in the United States Army, where he developed a foundation in discipline, teamwork, and leadership. He later worked for Drymalla Construction Company, gaining hands-on experience in commercial and educational construction.

A graduate of the University of Houston, Nathan earned a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Supervision. His background in military service, private-sector construction, and over two decades of leadership in public education facilities make him a trusted figure in school operations and construction management.
