Meet the Maintenance Director

 

Jason Templeton | Director of Maintenance

 

Jason Templeton is the Director of Maintenance for Katy ISD. Jason began his career with Katy ISD in 2020 as the Associate Director of Maintenance and Special Projects. He transitioned into the role of Director of Maintenance in 2023. Jason’s team includes an Associate Director of Maintenance and nine supervisors and their teams. Together, they maintain all campuses and facilities within Katy ISD. Their responsibilities span a wide range of tasks, from handling electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues to managing general maintenance, environmental initiatives, roofing, waterproofing, and groundskeeping throughout the district.

Jason is a graduate from Texas A&M University with 17 years of experience working with general contractors. Prior to his career with Katy ISD, he worked with a Job Order Contractor and Large Commercial General Contractors.
