Dual Credit - Houston Community College

Dual credit is a process that allows a high school student to enroll in a college course and receive simultaneous credit from both the high school and the college. 

Katy ISD high schools partner with Houston Community College to offer a variety of dual credit courses, as outlined in our Memorandum of Understanding. 

Dual Credit courses, which are optional courses offered as part of our dual credit program, involve college-level content that may include topics beyond the scope of typical high school courses. It is important for students and parents/guardians to be aware that some of the material covered and resources utilized in these courses may not align with the policies and guidelines set by the school district.
