Yes. Insurance for Chromebooks is $20 per student device each year. The insurance covers two repairs or one replacement. If a Chromebook has to be repaired for a third time or a second replacement, the parent or guardian is responsible for the cost.

Parents can opt-in for accidental insurance for the Chromebook and must select this option during Annual Student Update or New Student Enrollment. The insurance must be paid within 30 days after the student’s first day of attendance and will not cover intentional damage. Insurance fee(s) will be paid in the District’s Pay ‘N Go application and insurance coverage will not begin until payment is received. Failure to pay within 30 days after the first day of attendance will result in your student’s device not being covered for the entire school year. Once insurance is selected and your record has been approved, you will receive an email with instructions on how to pay for the fee in Pay ‘N Go.
Insurance is valid until the last day of summer related to the current school year or until it is depleted.
