​​Enabling Webpass

Webpass is an extension which allows MyKaty applications to auto log users into their applications through a single sign-on process.

Please note: it is recommended that you use a Google Chrome web browser to access Katy ISD applications and textbooks. 

• If using a Mac, please install the Chrome browser to use with Katy ISD applicat​ions rather than using the Safari browser.
• If you need assistance installing a Google Chrome browser, visit Google Support for more information.
  

***If using an iPad, webpass is not required. Instead, please install the Lenovo Unified Workspace app.***

Step-by-Step Instructions

Launch your Google Chrome browser and sign into MyKaty Cloud using your Katy ISD login credentials.	​
A pop-up box will appear letting you know that Webpass is not installed. Click on Install.	​ Note: If you do not see the pop-up, or you pressed Cancel when it appeared, you can also access from the Training - Help tab along the bottom of MyKaty Cloud.
You will be directed to the Chrome Web Store where you will choose to install the extension. Click on Add to Chrome.​	​
Click Add extension when this message box appears.​	​
You will receive a message saying that the extension has been installed. You will also see a blue key icon to the right of your Chrome address bar.​	​
Refresh your Chrome browser after enabling Webpass.​	​
