PAVILION at Merrell Center
Built in 2008, the L.D. Robinson Pavilion is a 25,200 square foot multi-purpose pavilion located on the grounds of the Merrell Center. The L.D. Robinson Pavilion plays host to the Katy ISD Career and Technical Education department's district events. The facility is named after Mr. L.D. Robinson, a longtime Katy ISD educator who served as FFA advisor and agriculture science teacher at Katy High School for 29 years before retiring in 1970. Instilling a winning spirit, promoting leadership, strong values, and developing self-esteem in youth were some of Mr. Robinson's greatest joys in life.
The L.D. Robinson Pavilion is also available for rental for non-Katy ISD events. For more information, please contact Ben Rolens at 281-396-2562.
