Counseling Programs
Counseling Programs support the personal, social, emotional, and behavioral development of all students, helping them build the skills needed to thrive in school and in life. Through a comprehensive and proactive approach, school counselors provide services that foster student well-being, resilience, healthy relationships, self-awareness, and responsible decision-making.
Aligned with the Texas Model for Comprehensive School Counseling Programs, Katy ISD Counseling Programs include guidance curriculum, responsive services, individual student support, and system support activities designed to address the diverse needs of students. School counselors collaborate with families, educators, administrators, and community partners to create safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environments where all students can succeed.
Counseling Programs are committed to removing barriers to student success, promoting positive school climates, and ensuring students have access to the resources and support needed to navigate challenges, develop essential life skills, and reach their full potential.
