ART

In this acrylic painting class, students will learn how to bring birds and animals to life using color, texture, and expressive brushwork. Through step-by-step guidance, we’ll explore the basics of acrylic painting while focusing on capturing the personality, movement, and spirit of animal subjects.

Students will learn how to build layers with acrylics, mix colors to create fur, feathers, and natural backgrounds, and use simple techniques to suggest form and depth without overworking the painting. Emphasis will be placed on observation, creative interpretation, and enjoying the process.

This class is suitable for beginners as well as those with some painting experience. Each student will complete acrylic painting of a bird and an animal while gaining the confidence to continue painting independently.

A supply list will be emailed prior to the first class.  Kindly contact Pooja by email or call/text:  346-331-9202.

In this charcoal drawing class, students will explore the expressive power of charcoal as a medium learning how simplicity, contrast, and imperfection can create deeply compelling artwork. Through guided exercises and hands-on practice, we will focus on understanding light and shadow, building form, and developing confidence in mark-making.

This class emphasizes observation over precision and expression over perfection. Students will learn techniques such as layering, blending, erasing for highlights, and creating depth using value. Whether you are new to charcoal or looking to refine your skills, this class offers a supportive space to slow down, experiment, and connect with your unique artistic voice.

By the end of the session’s students will leave with sketched charcoal piece and a deeper appreciation for the raw, emotional quality of drawing—where beauty emerges not from flawlessness, but from intention.   Kindly contact Pooja by email or call/text:  346-331-9202.
