The Engineering Design camp focuses on teaching kids 3D modeling and the engineering design process. And the Web Development camp will teach kids how to create their own websites and web applications utilizing HTML, CSS, and Javascript. The camps come in a bundle deal where if you register for multiple camps you can spend less money than you normally would if you paid for them individually.  The camps will be taught by our members who are all experienced in Programming and Engineering. The Java and Web Development Camps will be online while the Engineering Design camp will be in person at Seven Lakes High School. Attached is the flyer for the camp with a link to our website with more information and the form for signing up.

FROM THE CLINIC: Attention 6th grade Parents: During this school year please review your 6th grader's shot record and take note of what he/she will need before entry into 7th grade. I sent home the first reminder in February. I will be sending letters home again at the end of this school year. The following is a listing of immunization rules that affect all Texas students entering 7th grade:

Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis (Tdap): Tdap is required for all students entering 7th grade if at least 5 years has lapsed since the last dose of a tetanus containing vaccine (DTap, DPT, DT).  If 5 years have not elapsed since the last dose of a tetanus containing vaccine at entry into 7th grade, then this dose will become due as soon as the 5 year interval has passed. Td is acceptable if Tdap is medically contraindicated.

Meningococcal Vaccine: One dose is required for all students entering 7th. Must be received on or after 10th birthday.

Additional information regarding these immunizations including exemptions from immunizations can be obtained through the Texas Department of Health website

Shot documentation needs to be stamped or signed by the facility and include the month, day and year the vaccine was given. Computer print outs are valid only if the administering facility has stamped/signed the print out. Please keep a copy for your records when submitting them to the WMJH Clinic. If your child has already received these immunizations please submit them to school clinic, fax to 281- 644-1677, or email to before the end of the school year. If they receive them over the summer you can fax or email the updated records. Schedules will be held at expedition night in August if updated records have not been turned in. You can turn them in that night but will have to turn them in to the school clinic and will be a long line so if you can turn them in before that night it will be beneficial.
