SAT School Day 2021- 11th Graders Only
Katy ISD will be offering the School Day SAT on March 3rd for all juniors attending MCHS.
MCHS will administer the school-day SAT to all 11th graders on Wednesday, March 3, 2021. This administration will not include the optional writing portion of the SAT. Seniors will not take the assessment. Additional details will be provided at a later date.
To prepare for the SAT School Day, juniors should access their PSAT scores from fall 2020 in their College Board account and tie them to Khan Academy for specific, prescribed SAT practice. Please see the PSAT section below for more information.

PSAT/NMSQT® Testing for 10th and 11th graders
ALL students that participated in the Fall 2020 PSAT at MCHS will be able to check their scores online beginning December 8th through their College Board account. If you do not remember the email you used for College Board or any of your login information, you must contact College Board for that information. MCHS does not have access to your College Board account.
If you wish to change/adjust/update your address, you will need to access your College Board account and change it there. MCHS does not have access to your College Board account and cannot make any changes.

After you receive your PSAT score, don't forget to sign up for FREE practice through Khan Academy specifically designed for you!
Get personalized practice recommendations based on your results from the new SAT and PSAT/NMSQT.
1. Go to www.satpractice.org. Create an account on Khan Academy, or sign into your existing account.
2. Link your accounts. When prompted, agree to link your Khan Academy and College Board accounts.
Send your scores. Log in to your College Board account, and hit "Send" to get a personalized practice plan.

ASVAB-ARMED SERVICES VOCATIONAL APTITUDE BATTERY
Are you interested in a career in the military? Are you unsure of what you would like to pursue after graduation? MCHS will be hosting the ASVAB test on April 21, 2021 at 8:15 am for the 2020-2021 school year.
WHAT IS IT?
The ASVAB is a timed multi-aptitude test, which is given at over 14,000 schools and Military Entrance Processing Stations (MEPS) nationwide and is developed and maintained by the Department of Defense.
- Identifies student interest and aptitude in:
- Science & Technical Skills
- Required test to be admitted in the military
- Results will be given to the student/parent only. The results will not be given to the military. They are for your viewing only. You can take them to the MEPS office, or you can use the results in the Career Exploration Program just to learn more about your strengths and aptitude. You DO NOT have to be interested in a career in the military to take this career exploration test.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO TEST?
10th-12th Grade students, Participation is voluntary.
During the school day at MCHS. April 21, 2021 at 8:15 am in the MCHS LGI.

Registration is open until 3:00 pm on April 14, 2021. No late registrations will be accepted. Register at MCHS by clicking here and filling out the form.

All scores for spring and summer testers may be accessed in the Texas Assessment Data Portal. This will be the only way to access your child's scores for STAAR. For students who are eligible to test but have not yet achieved "Approaches Grade Level," "Meets Grade Level," or "Masters Grade Level" on English I, English II, Algebra, Biology or US History STAAR EOC will be automatically enrolled in December testing. (Note: A student is considered "eligible to test" if they have taken an assessment and not yet passed, if they have completed the course and haven't yet tested, were absent for testing during the school year, or went home ill during testing and were unable to complete the test.)
Retester notices will be sent through your student's second period class in late November.
