SPRING STAAR EOC TESTING INFORMATION
Spring EOC testing will take place on the following dates.
- English I - Tuesday, April 5, 2022
- English II - Thursday, April 7, 2022
- Algebra I - Tuesday, May 3, 2022
- Biology - Wednesday, May 4, 2022
- US History - Thursday, May 5, 2022
Students who are currently taking the scheduled course will test on the day listed. If a student has already taken the course but not yet met the standard on the corresponding EOC exam, they will also test on the day listed.
Students who are eligible to test but have not yet achieved "Approaches Grade Level," "Meets Grade Level," or "Masters Grade Level" on English I, English II, Algebra, Biology, or US History STAAR EOC will be automatically enrolled in April and May STAAR testing. (Note: A student is considered "eligible to test" if they have taken an assessment and not yet passed, if they have completed the course and haven't yet tested, were absent for testing during the school year, or went home ill during testing and were unable to complete the test.)
Students who attend JHS are automatically enrolled for testing. Students not testing will attend their regular classes on a regular bell schedule - although some classes may be moved due to testing. Testing room assignments will be shared with students prior to test day. JHS will be a closed campus for all five test dates. Parents of TESTERS, please do not schedule appointments during the testing window as the campus will be closed. Attendance passes will not be issued from the attendance office that morning for students who are testing. Students will not be permitted to leave their testing room after they have finished their test so that they are not disturbing the other testers.
Thank you for respecting this guideline. Our first priority is always the safety of our students. Our attendance clerks are busy each period on testing dates accounting for each and every student on campus and we need to keep them focused on that task. Thank you so much for understanding and making allowances.
Closed campus times:
- April 5 – 7:15-12:55
- April 7 – 7:15-12:55
- May 3 – 7:15-11:30
- May 4 – 7:25-11:30
- May 5 – 7:25-11:30
Students who attend Miller CTC:
If you are scheduled to take an EOC test, you WILL NOT go to Miller first. You will come to JHS. Miller knows that you are coming to your home campus to test.
SAT SCORES
For juniors who took the SAT school day exam on March 2nd, scores are available online at collegeboard.org. Students should log into their accounts using the information they provided on their scantron. If they've never set up an account, they can do so on College Board's website by providing the information they listed on their scantron. Any questions about accessing scores should be directed to College Board -- JHS DOES NOT have access to the scores & cannot provide them to students.
PSAT/NMSQT® Scores for 10th and 11th Graders
On October 13, 2021, all JHS sophomores and juniors took the PSAT/NMSQT exam. As a reminder, JHS will not receive paper score reports nor distribute scores to students. Students must access their scores using the email address they entered on their answer documents. College Board estimates scores to be released to students' accounts on December 6: https://studentscores.collegeboard.org/home.

For students who are eligible to test but have not yet achieved either Approaches, Meets, or Masters Grade Level on English I, English II, Algebra, Biology, or US History STAAR EOC will be automatically enrolled in the spring testing opportunities.
(Note: A student is considered "eligible to test" if they have taken an assessment and not yet passed, if they have completed the course and haven't yet tested, were absent for testing during the school year, or went home ill during testing and were unable to complete the test.)
