How can I contact the Counselor?
The counselor is available to assist any family with questions or concerns. The most efficient way to contact her is through the use of email. You may reach her by phone at 281-237-6500, please leave a detailed voice message and she will return your call as quickly as possible.
What if my child forgets his lunch?
You may bring your child's lunch to the front office by 10:00 am and it will be delivered to the classroom before they go to the cafeteria. Please note, the front office will not make deliveries after 10:00 am, and fast food will not be delivered to the student. If you want to provide fast food for your student, you must stay and take it to the cafeteria at your student's lunchtime.
How may I request a change of transportation?
Requests to change transportation must be made in writing. Students should bring these notes to the office in the morning. Emergency requests to change transportation arrangements may be faxed to 281-644-1530. A copy of the parent/guardian picture ID must accompany this written request. Please verify receipt of your fax by calling the school at 281-237-6500 when you send the request. We are unable to process any transportation changes after 3:00 p.m.
What is the rainy day plan for walkers?
Parents will need to inform their child's teacher about their plan for days when there is inclement weather.
What if my child needs to leave during the school day?
You may check your child out at the front office for appointments. Be sure to bring your photo ID and it may take a few minutes to locate your child from specials or the playground. If you take your child out prior to 10:00, please bring a note from the doctor and present it upon your return to school. This will prevent your child from having an absence. If the student has an early appointment and comes to school afterward, bring a note from the doctor and the student will not be charged with a tardy for the day. Tardies and late check-ins, even with a doctor's note, will count against perfect attendance counts. Students may not be checked out after 3:15, as they will be moving to their dismissal locations at that time.
