Hello! My name is Carol Ann Hoevelman and I am so excited to start my 4th year teaching! I have been at Shafer in Second Grade for the last 3 years, and love being here so much! I graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelors in Criminal Justice. After working in that field, I quickly realized teaching was my passion. Building relationships with students is my favorite thing about teaching, followed by math. I love teaching math, and fostering a love for all learning in my classroom. In my free time, I love spending time with my husband, Bryan, daughter, Mabry, and pets, Harper and Hugo. I’m thrilled to get this school year started, and get to know you and your child.
