Looking up STAAR EOC Spring and Summer 2021 Scores

All scores for spring and summer testers may be accessed in the Texas Assessment Data Portal. This will be the only way to access your child’s scores for STAAR. Please attached directions for accessing scores through the Texas Assessment Data Portal.

PSAT/NMSQT® Testing October 13, 2021 from 7:15am – 12:00pm at CRHS

INFORMATION FOR ALL STUDENTS AT ALL GRADE LEVELS: PLEASE READ!

ALL 10th and 11th grade students will be participating in the PSAT/NMSQT on Wednesday, October 13 from 7:15am - 12:00 pm. Students arriving for testing after 7:30 am will not be permitted to test and will need to report to the library for a study hall/homeroom. Please be prompt.  There is no makeup testing for the PSAT.  If you are absent and you are a junior, you may submit SAT scores for National Merit consideration.  Please check the College Board website for more information.

Students need to bring the following items to the test:

·   Valid photo ID (school ID or driver's license)

·   Two #2 pencils

·   A College Board approved calculator

·   Home Address

·   Email address

CALCULATORS: Sophomores and Juniors, please bring a college board approved calculator to your PSAT. You will not be allowed to use a school calculator for a weekend SAT or ACT test.  It is highly recommended that you use your own calculator on the PSAT so that you are familiar with the way it works on all test dates.  Please see the linked list above or speak to your math teacher if you have any questions.

Freshman and Seniors will be attending a “homeroom" study hall from 7:15am – 12:00pm. This is a wonderful opportunity to study for classes as well as fill out college applications, write scholarship essays, etc. Seniors, if you are looking for a date to plan a college visit, this is a great date to do so.

Parents of ALL STUDENTS, please do not schedule appointments during the testing window as the campus will be closed.  Attendance passes will not be issued from the attendance office that morning for students in any grade level, even if they are not testing on that date.

Thank you for respecting this guideline.  Our first priority is always the safety of our students.  Our attendance clerks and other staff are busy on testing dates accounting for each and every student on campus and we need to keep them focused on that task.  Thank you so much for understanding and making allowances.

MILLER STUDENTS:

  • Sophomores and Juniors will NOT go to Miller Career Center in the morning and must report to CRHS by 7:15 am for testing.  YOU WILL NOT test at MCTC.
  • Seniors will keep to their regular Miller schedule in the morning and go to Miller for 1st – 3rd period.  They will be dismissed at 9:50 as usual.  MCTC AM seniors have been assigned to a homeroom when they return to CRHS.
  • There will be two pick-ups for MCTC afternoon classes.
    • 11:55 for seniors
    • 12:25 for juniors (after testing and lunch)
  • Both juniors and seniors should go to Miller in the afternoon.  Class will begin at the usual time at Miller and students will be late or miss, but Miller knows our schedule and is expecting that.  Students should plan additional time to eat lunch and take care of their needs in a reasonable timeframe.  Miller will tell them what period to go to when they arrive.

Late Arrival Seniors: You may arrive at school on Wednesday, 10/13, at your normal arrival time.  Go straight to your homeroom/study hall when you arrive.  Locations will be posted on the wall in the rotunda and surrounding hallways.

HCC: First through third period HCC Government (Murzyn) students will attend their HCC class at the regularly scheduled time. Each class will be their own homeroom and attend from there.

**First through third period HCC English and US History Classes will go to their assigned homeroom location and WILL NOT have HCC classes on Wednesday.  Your HCC teacher will tell you which day you will be having class instead of study hall during your regular class periods on Monday and Tuesday.

Testing rooms and homerooms will be posted in the hallways Wednesday morning before school. Rooms will not be posted prior to test date.
