Senior Portrait On Campus Make Ups
DUE TO THE WEATHER CLOSURE LAST WEEK, the dates for the on campus senior portrait make ups have been changed to the following:
Wednesday, March 3rd from 1:00-5:00 p.m. and Thursday, March 4th from 1:00-5:00 p.m.
KVA students may sign up for slots for after school – 2:45 – 5:00 p.m.

Macho Man Volleyball
Attention Senior men! It is time to play Macho Man Volleyball. If you are interested in trying out please see information provided below.
Pick up a form in room 1628. Forms must be returned by Monday 2/15.
Tryouts will be held Tuesday February 16th, 2:45 – 5:00 in the 9th grade gym.
Practices will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting 2/18 through 3/4, 2:45 – 4:00. You must be able to attend all practices.
Games will be played:
Tuesday March 9th vs Morton Ranch at CRHS (buyout)
Thursday March 11th vs Taylor at THS
*Please note due to Covid restrictions KVA students are not able to participate.
CATS Hours Update for 2020-2021
There are new requirements for CATS hours for this year.
Freshman: 5 hour minimum
Sophomore: 10 hour minimum
Junior: 20 hour minimum
Senior: 30 hour minimum
Make sure you print out the log from the CATS link(to the right). Submit completed packet by the FIRST FRIDAY IN APRIL (Friday April 2, 2021 by 2:35 p.m.) to the appropriate grade level principal's office.

Senior shirts for sale beginning Sept. 8
Support the Senior Class of 2021 by purchasing a t-shirt. Shirts will be available in the Senior office, Rm. 1628, beginning on Sept. 8.
Graduation requirements for the Foundation High School Program + Endorsement (FHSPE)
Graduation requirements for the Foundation High School Program + Endorsement (FHSPE) include four math credits, which must include Algebra I and Geometry credits, and two additional math credits. Algebra II is not specified as a graduation requirement; however, students who do not earn Algebra II credit are not eligible for: • Earning the Distinguished Level of Achievement (DLA), which requires completion of an endorsement with Algebra II among the four math credits, • Recognition as an honors or high honors graduate, • Automatic admission to a state public college or university, and • Certain financial aid opportunities, including the TEXAS grant or the Texas Educational Opportunity Grant.
