New Student Registration
Please visit our registration site at www.katyisd.org/registration for the most up-to-date information in regards to registration. This site will list all the documents needed to complete the registration process and the immunization requirements.
REPORTING AN ABSENCE
On the day the student is absent the parent should complete the online absence report under the quick link tab on our homepage OR call the main number 281-234-0500 OR email email@example.com. If the school does not receive timely notice regarding any absence the parent will be contacted by the automatic phone system to verify the absence. It is recommended that you follow up the absence with a note signed by the parent on the date of the student's return to school. The note should have the students name, grade, teacher name, date, reason for the absence and the parents signature. Failure to communicate any absence to the school will result in an unexcused absence.
Our doors open at 8:00. The tardy bell rings at 8:25. Students must be in their class ready to learn. Any student not in their class will be marked tardy and must obtain an admittance slip from the front office. Bad weather and traffic are not considered excused. Please plan accordingly on bad weather days for possible delays.
Parents should notify the registrar 24 hours in advance when a child is withdrawing. The parent must come to the office to complete final withdrawal procedures. Records will be sent to the new school when release of records documentation has been received.
