Katy ISD will hold a General Election on May 2, 2026 (polling​ locations). Trustee Positions 3, 4 and 5 will be on the ballot to serve a three-year term.

Current state law requires a candidate for trustee of an independent school district to be a qualified voter by the time required, Election Code Section 141.001. An application for place on the ballot must be filed with the Elections Administrator located at the Katy ISD Education Support Complex, 6301 S. Stadium Lane, Katy, TX 77494 beginning Wednesday, January 14, 2026, and ending at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 13, 2026.
