Supplemental Insurance is recommended, although not required, by the Katy Independent School District.  The companies listed below are approved KISD Board insurance companies offered to all students participating in an athletic program.

KISD Student/Athletic Insurance

Katy ISD has partnered with Texas Kids First to offer specialized accident insurance programs such as:

  • Student/Athletic Accident Insurance
  • Special Risk Policies
  • Individual Accident Plans
  • AD&D Coverage
  • Occupational Accident Policies

CHIP Low Cost Insurance

The Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) provides free or low-cost health coverage for more than 7 million children up to age 19. CHIP covers U.S. citizens and eligible immigrants.
