Shanna has been a wonderful support to two Katy ISD TEA+CH interns that she has on her campus this year. Both have shared how much they appreciate her willingness to check in, offer guidance, and be someone they can go to with questions. She has been incredibly encouraging and supportive of their growth as new teachers. Having someone so approachable and invested in their success has made a real difference during their first year.

Mrs. Ogle has been an exceptional mentor at Bear Creek Elementary, providing thoughtful support to her intern throughout the year. She shares her expertise by offering meaningful support and feedback tailored to her intern's individual growth. Mrs. Ogle serves as a dependable source of guidance and encouragement, always willing to listen, help problem-solve, and connect them with helpful resources when needed. Her commitment to mentoring has had a lasting impact now and in the future.

Markham Stayton at West Memorial Junior High
Mr. Stayton has been a phenomenal mentor throughout the duration of this school year. He has provided tremendous support in the classroom and on the field for his intern teacher and coach. Mr. Stayton is approachable and always willing to offer advice and perspective on any challenges his mentee may encounter. He has stayed in communication with the field supervisor to collaborate on the best ways to provide support. His passion for teaching is a tremendous asset to our program and all of Katy ISD.
