Student Activity Facilities
Agricultural Science Center
As enrollment figures continue to climb, there is a direct impact on instructional programs and facilities. Katy ISD has a proud and rich history of FFA excellence, and a history of providing facilities that match student, staff and community commitment. Developing an Agricultural Sciences Center at the current Gerald D. Young facility on Katy-Hockley Road will provide many opportunities for our students and the Katy community.
A second stadium will provide additional opportunities for our students and the Katy community including, but not limited to:
Keeps Katy ISD from having to rent outside stadiums in order to fulfill the requirmetns of schedules.
Over $500,000 in annual revenue through ticket sales, concessions, and advertising.
Accommodates students in current and future high schools.
Provides a facility to continue to host current and future fine arts competitions.
Establishes a facility to host expanded football and soccer playoff games, including regional and state tournaments.
