answers to the questions.
If we have not received your letter of intent by
the time you schedule your new hire paperwork meeting, you will be notified at
that meeting of any documents we have not received for your file.
Yes, even though a copy of transcripts is
on file with the application, in most cases these are photo copies of
transcripts. The district requires that we have OFFICIAL transcripts on file for
every teacher and each institution which they attended. You will be notified at
the New Hire paperwork meeting of any documents we have not received for your
file.
We are required by law to use the name on the social security you provide our office with at the new hire meeting. If you receive a new card, you may go to KatyNet and complete the change of status form and submit that form to the Personnel Office.
No. However, if you wait until you have the new address, it will reduce the amount of paperwork that you must complete for your records. We recommend that you wait until you have the new address, but you do not have to wait if you choose.
The Katy ISD Board of Trustees usually approves a salary schedule for the following school year in June or July. However, in most cases you can refer to current year salary schedule to get an idea of what your salary might be for the next school year. Learn more about payroll below.
Please read the rest of the information in this website first! If you still have questions, please call 281-396-6000 and ask for the Human Resources Department.
