Welcome to the Nutrition and Food Service
Department Home Page. We hope you enjoy the links listed above that will guide
you to the monthly elementary and secondary menus. You will find the answer to
many of your food service related questions in the FAQ section. The enclosed
Free and Reduced Meal application can be printed, completed, signed and sent to
the food service office for timely processing. Be sure to visit us often as we
continue to introduce new ideas to better serve the students of the district.
Our department is ready to serve the nutritional
needs of the students and staff of the district. We are dedicated to preparing
wholesome, nutritious food and serving the students in a pleasant environment.

The Application Process

Complete all the sections of the application and send or bring it to the
Human Resources Department for processing. This process includes sending for
references and completing a criminal history check. An interview will be
scheduled with the department after your application has been reviewed. The
Human Resources staff will call applicants with an offer of employment. If you
are not called for an interview call Human Resources (281-396-6000x2347) at any
time to find out the status of your application. Katy ISD accepts applications twelve months a year. Applications are
processed and hiring takes place throughout the year.
