Katy ISD facilities are made available to the general public under conditions found in the Administrative Regulations GKD, Community Use of School Facilities. A brief summary of that regulation is:

Patrons shall comply with all federal, state, and local laws applicable to the conduct of any event open to the public. Patrons will, in no event, refuse admissions or make admission conditional upon race, color, religion, or national origin of the person seeking admission, nor distribute pamphlets or any other written material that would be offensive to any particular race, color, national origin, or religion.

Conditions for usage of facilities

1. Use or possession of any weapon, alcoholic beverage, or illegal drugs, or use of tobacco products on Katy ISD property is prohibited.
2. The District may cancel any reservation request AT ANY TIME in favor of a school event.
3. Guests are allowed only in the area that is being rented.
4. Insurance is required before your group can use Katy ISD facilities. A certificate of Insurance covering Katy ISD is required prior to occupancy. The insurance must be in the following amounts:
   

   Comprehensive or Commercial General Liability
   General Liability	$1,000,000.00
   Pro/Comp/Ops Aggregate	$1,000,000.00
   Personal & Advertising	$ 500,000.00
   Each Occurrence	$1,000,000.00
   Fire Damage	$ 100,000.00
   Medical Expense	$ 5,000.00

   
   
5. Groups must have a membership of at least ten (10) persons with adult leadership to reserve a facility. Groups renting a facility are responsible for all damages.
6. The following are the number of custodians that will be on duty for any after-hour or weekend activity in any facility. The cost per custodian per hour is $30.00.

7. School furniture and equipment will not be moved from one building, or area of a building, to another.
