The administration bureau includes the divisions of personnel management, communication, security, logistics, and criminal investigation. The administration bureau commander oversees five licensed peace officer, six certified dispatchers, and approximately 41 certified security guards.

The communication division operates 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. The dispatchers receive and dispatch calls for service and monitor intrusion and fire alarms.

The security division includes security personnel and technology. Each secondary school has certified security guards, and there is electronic intrusion protection and a closed circuit television system at all campuses and some support facilities. 

The criminal investigation division includes a sergeant and two detectives. These officers are responsible for collecting evidence and investigating major crimes, presenting the finding to the appropriate district attorney for prosecution. They also assist the Human Resources Department with investigating cases of employee misconduct.
